The Sí Puedes model did not begin as a theory. It grew from years of study and direct work with Latino participants — listening to their struggles, recognizing their strengths, and understanding what was getting in the way when hard work alone was not enough to move forward.
Built for Working Latinos Facing Barriers
Coaching is delivered in Spanish, in small groups or one-on-one, in person or online. The program uses tools that honor Latino culture, values, faith, family realities, and dignity. Participants are not asked to fit into a model; the model was created to meet them where they are.
Designed for Lasting Change
Participants move from uncertainty to self-awareness, and from self-awareness to action. They identify who they are, what matters most, and the next steps they can take. The goal is not dependency, but capacity — helping people use what they already have to build greater self-reliance, family stability, and a better future.
Why Sí Puedes Was Founded
Sí Puedes was born from a question that stayed with me after nearly two decades of working alongside Latino communities: Why do so many hardworking people continue to struggle to move forward, despite their effort, even when services and opportunities already exist?
That question led me back to graduate study in psychology and, later, to direct personal growth coaching with Latino participants. I began to see the missing piece: many people did not lack willingness, effort, or potential. They lacked access to culturally relevant personal development tools in Spanish — tools that could help them recognize their worth and strengths, understand what was getting in the way, and feel empowered to take the next step with confidence.
